The service
The service monitors and organises public food hygiene data, creates scored change signals, and provides research, notes, pipeline and export tools. It is an information service, not professional food-safety, legal, credit, compliance or marketing advice. A signal is not proof of purchasing intent.
Accounts
You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential and promptly report suspected misuse. Accounts are for business users aged 18 or over. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
Subscriptions and prices
The founding price is GBP 49.99 monthly or GBP 499.90 annually for the first 20 allocated customer accounts. The standard price is GBP 79.99 monthly or GBP 799.90 annually. Annual pricing represents ten monthly payments. Prices include any taxes only where expressly stated at checkout.
Direct Debit
GoCardless hosts the bank-authorisation journey and processes collections. Direct Debit is not instant. Your bank statement and GoCardless notices identify collections. Any applicable Direct Debit Guarantee rights are unaffected by these terms.
Renewal and cancellation
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically for the selected period until cancelled. You can cancel from Account and billing. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally leaves access available through the paid period, subject to payment failure, chargeback, misuse or legal requirements. We do not describe an annual subscription as a non-renewing single payment.
Fair use
You may use the service for your organisation's lawful internal research and sales workflow. You may not resell the database, systematically republish it, scrape the service, share one account between unrelated organisations, bypass limits, or use outputs for unlawful discrimination, harassment or non-compliant direct marketing.
Public records and accuracy
Food hygiene records are controlled and updated by the Food Standards Agency and participating local authorities. Ratings can change. You must verify the current official record before relying on it or displaying it. We do not use or imply endorsement by the FSA and do not use FSA logos.
Availability
We aim to operate the service reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular number of signals, or that any signal will produce revenue. Maintenance, public-source changes, rate limits and third-party outages may affect the service.
Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, DIGIDENT LTD is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost opportunity or decisions made without verifying source data. Our total liability connected with the service is limited to fees paid for the affected subscription during the preceding 12 months.
Changes and termination
We may make proportionate service changes, suspend misuse, or terminate where payment remains overdue or these terms are materially breached. Material term or price changes will be notified before they take effect for a renewal.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without removing any mandatory rights that apply to you.
